Are You Having Trouble Finding The Careerist?

Vivia Chen

April 14, 2014

Dear Readers,

I know that some of you are having problems finding The Careerist. First, let me say that I understand your frustration.

Please remember that my blog has moved to this new site. You might have also noticed that you are no longer getting morning email notices about my blog. Unfortunately, we don't have an email alert dedicated to Careerist at this time.

However, if you are an Am Law Daily subscriber, you shouldn't be missing my posts. You can find my posts on the Am Law email alerts (Careerist is typically the last item on the list).

We are working to clear up some of the problems with the new site. In the meantime, please bookmark this new Careerist homepage and follow me on Twitter to keep up with my latest posts.

As always, I look forward to hearing from you.

Yeah, no. lawjobs.com/news still requires am AmLaw subscription to ask the posts.

I agree, I miss the daily reminder. What's even worse is that I actually have an AmLaw Magazine subscription and I still have issues accessing their online articles. Am I really supposed to pay more to access online info? Very frustrating, AmLaw needs to fix this.

That's what I heard...

Agreed, Julie. But I miss The Careerist!

Vivia, my experience has been that the problem isn't finding the site. The problem is that I'm not willing to purchase an AmLaw subscription to be able to access it.

I've been reading for quite some time and always enjoy your blog, but I'm not subscribing to AmLaw. Very disappointed to see you go behind a paywall. I get the economics, though, so I hope it goes well for you.
