Not Just Rich, White Ladies Anymore

6a0120a9220c59970b01bb08fe2a2c970d-320wiYou might think the annual Central Park Conservatory Hat Lunch is just a bunch of uptight WASP ladies wearing silly hats, getting sloshed under a flower-bedecked tent.

Well, that's still true. But it's also evolved. In recent years, it's become more diverse, drawing career types (my host is a senior in house counsel) and multiple ethnicities (hey, I was there). This year, I also noticed more men than ever before.
